The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the completion of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and team members to manage all aspects of the construction process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all necessary permits and documentation are completed before starting projects.
- Develop comprehensive site plans with customers, including locations for dumpsters, fencing, and tree protection.
- Promote sustainability by identifying items for recycling or reuse with customers.
- Establish clear construction limits in occupied homes to minimize disruption.
- Conduct thorough weekly site walks to maintain site preparation and protection measures.
- Regularly review project plans, specifications, and change orders for accurate execution.
- Return customer calls within one hour during business hours and respond to suppliers and contractors on the same day.
- Schedule and conduct weekly site meetings with customers.
- Utilize CoConstruct software for effective project management and reporting.
- Create and maintain project schedules, updating as necessary.
- Perform daily inspections of project sites to address incomplete items and mistakes.
- Inspect finishes upon installation to ensure proper installation and lack of damage.
- Assist with handling warranty service requests and customer complaints.
- Verify foundation dimensions and label rough openings during framing.
- Keep permit boxes organized and ensure stamped plans are available for inspections.
- Schedule and attend required inspections with local authorities.
- Ensure adherence to standard construction safety practices.
- Recommend and implement improvements in construction management and material standards.
- Develop a thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, and budgets.
- Implement cost control measures and evaluate construction methods for efficiency and quality.
- Enforce standards for site condition and organization.
- Assist in training contractors, suppliers, and subordinates on company-specific methods and quality standards.
- Follow company systems and document issues with recommendations for improvements.
- Treat customers with respect, address feedback constructively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Stay updated on building codes, zoning ordinances, and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in CoConstruct or similar construction management software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle adversity with a positive attitude

Compensation:
- Full-Time position
- Competitive salary starting at $80,000 per year, based on experience.
