What is my role and responsibility?
You will be the Resident Project Representative and will be assigned to projects as our primary field representative to observe the construction work through completion. You will coordinate between our design engineers and managers, the client, and the contractor. You can sit in any of our local offices.

Nearly 100 professional engineers strong and recent recipients of multiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards, our senior technical and project management leaders have earned an outstanding reputation with private, state, and local government clients. We provide planning, design, and construction phase services for the new construction, rehabilitation, and upgrading of water and wastewater treatment facilities and pump stations. We also provide structural design and construction phase services for municipal buildings (maintenance facilities, office buildings, and schools), retaining walls, parking garages, dams and spillways, and bridges.
What will you be doing?
You will be performing construction observation to verify that all materials and equipment are installed in accordance with the design drawings and specifications and function as intended. As the Resident Project Representative, you will provide review and coordination across various disciplines including civil, structural, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and SCADA. You will be responsible for coordinating with our management and design team, client representatives, utilities companies, and adjacent residents. You will also be consulted by our project management team to provide constructability reviews of projects at various stages of design. You will be supported by our roving team of Senior Engineers, Construction Observers, and Project Managers who will assist with finding technical and administrative solutions as they may arise.
What experience do you need?
You will need construction experience with vertical projects involving water and wastewater treatment facilities upgrades including civil, mechanical, structural, electrical and HVAC elements. You should have an AS or BS degree related to construction management, technology, or engineering. Your ideal experience would include water and wastewater facility upgrades and other technically related tasks such as survey, design/drafting, construction administration, or municipal works.

Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors; the salary range for this position is typically $64,180 - $111,416.
