We are looking for:
- Someone with a “can do” attitude
- Someone who enjoys caring for others
- Someone with reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
- Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to read and write
Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:
- Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
- This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
- Assist residents with meals and snacks
- Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
- Housekeeping duties as necessary
