Position Overview:
This role involves managing the fiscal and administrative aspects of federal and non-federal research grants, including budget development, financial reconciliation, forecasting, closeouts, and preparing analytical reports for PIs and stakeholders.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, 100% remote. Open to nonlocal candidates.
- Pay Rate: $42.70
- Type: Contract until March, with potential for permanent placement.
- Review and approve financial transactions up to $50,000 for compliance with cost principles.
- Ensure timely project reporting and financial deliverables; collaborate with PIs on late reports.
- Meet with investigators monthly to review financial data and provide updates as needed.
- Guide compliance with sponsor rules, GAAP, and OMB Uniform Guidance.
- 3-5 years of experience in research administration and portfolio management.
- Bachelor's degree required.
