Description
The Rental Branch Manager is responsible for driving customer focus and business decisions for the Rental Department. This position is expected to motivate and proactively assist the rental team in meeting and exceeding their equipment rental sales revenue and profitability goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Obtain Business Plan Profit after Direct (PAD) for rental location.
- Maintain store fleet utilization as well as financial utilization
- Develop and monitor plans/activities to minimize slow rental assets
- Inspect weekly rental equipment
- Assess and invoice all rental damage within Corporate guidelines
- Maintain a rentable fleet while managing rental maintenance expense
- Ensure team members are following all Riggs Safety procedures, as well as informing customers of proper safety usage
- Responsible for all assets and their movement in/out of the branch
- Coordinate rental activities with various Riggs departments to ensure customer rental needs are met
- Collaborate with all sales and service channels to ensure all areas can win in the market
- Ensure performance standards are met within the team and Riggs
- Review monthly operating statements and reports and develop ideas to increase the sales/rental channel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of statistical methodologies, techniques, and data analysis
- Business awareness and numerical ability
- 2-4 years rental management and/or rental market experience
- Ability to coach, lead, and delegate the rental team members at your store
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and other database systems
- Fluent in using a CRM system as well as a rental management system
- Experience using DBS and iRent is a plus
