We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Remote Tax Senior to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax Senior or Senior Tax Associate positions with a focus on multi-state income tax returns, sales tax, use tax, property tax returns, tax provision, and governmental regulations. This is a permanent remote position that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Remote Tax Senior to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax Senior or Senior Tax Associate positions with a focus on multi-state income tax returns, sales tax, use tax, property tax returns, tax provision, and governmental regulations. This is a permanent remote position that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and review multi-state income tax returns
- Prepare and file sales tax, use tax, and property tax returns
- Assist with tax provision and year-end accruals
- Assist with general accruals and other accounting-related tasks
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Tax Senior or Senior Tax Associate positions
- Strong knowledge of multi-state income tax returns, sales tax, use tax, and property tax returns
- Experience with tax provision and year-end accruals
- Experience with governmental regulations and compliance
- Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Detail-oriented and organized
