Rehabilitation Therapy Aide
Casa de Ramana is looking for a Rehabilitation Therapy Aide to join our team.
Must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA certificate.

Job Responsibilities:
Supports the main functions of the therapy department, as needed, including, but not limited to, the following tasks as assigned:
As directed and supervised by a therapist, assist in direct patient/resident care, assist in the execution of group therapy programs, and or restorative services.
Transport patient/residents to and from therapy session.
Maintain a neat and clean rehab office and gym area.
Assist in the maintenance of therapy equipment- wheelchairs, walkers, other equipment, and storage of same.
Assist in designated auditing programs as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation.
Complete any necessary filing as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation.
Assist in the notification and communication of scheduling of resident treatment sessions.
Assisting in the set-up of DME/equipment of new admissions and in ordering necessary equipment for residents prior to discharge.
Adheres to the center infection control policy.
Adheres to all center and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Works collaboratively with all members of the rehabilitation team.
Holds the skills of time management and consistently demonstrates strong time management and organizational skills, as well as seamless communication skills.
Routinely attends and regularly participates in staff meetings and patient conferences as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation. Participation should be positive, constructive and solution oriented.
Qualifications for the Rehabilitation Therapy Aide:
Minimum of High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalency
Prefer a minimum of one year of experience in a Rehabilitation Therapy Aide capacity in a skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, including written and oral communication.
