Marquis Health Consulting Services is growing our team in New Jersey to support our expanding portfolio of skilled nursing facilities in the region. Come join our amazing teams as our Regional Specialty Program Director. In this role, you will be initiating and setting goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the facilities. For our New Jersey facilities-travel is required.
Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced Specialty Program Director to supervise our specialty program division. At Marquis Health, we are proud of our Cardiac, Orthopedic, Pulmonary and Chronic Kidney Disease Programs. We are also aligned with the American Heart Association with our Heart Failure Programs. You will be responsible for the education, delivery, and overall success of each program. You will ensure internal teams are educated on programs within the center. You will audit and review metrics of programs and create a strategic education plan based on our findings.
- A successful Program Director must have a broad knowledge of Clinical Program management principles. They must have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop their subordinates. Responsibilities
- Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the center
- Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones, and processes
- Collaborate with our Specialty Physicians to understand needs of our Hospital Partners.
- Educate internal staff during program role out utilizing established protocols, procedures, and educational resources
- Monitor performance and determine the need for improvements
- Support Centers SP Lead and provide feedback, education, and strategy surrounding the growth of the program
- Form relationships with External Vendors to support our centers Specialty needs
- Discover ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
- Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.
Requirements-travel is required -New Jersey
- Proven experience as the program director or other education role in clinical role
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods (Cardiology, Pulmonary, Nephrology, and Orthopedics)
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
- Outstanding knowledge of data analysis and reporting
- Working knowledge of MS office, MS Teams and program management software (e.g. PowerPoint Hospital Electronic medical records)
- A business acumen with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
