Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Planning:
- Develop and implement a focused sales plan to grow business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Utilize effective territory planning to balance sales efforts and manage time productively, with a mix of A&D and Distribution.

Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including owners, architects, designers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with the Sales Director and Inside Sales Representative to maximize sales efforts.
- Act as an industry resource, offering technical assistance, product recommendations, and specifications to customers.

Sales Growth:
- Follow up on Weekly Quote Report to maximize the quote-to-order ratio.
- Prospect daily to uncover new leads and opportunities.

- Analyze competition to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve profitability and close ratios.

Project and Sales Support:
- Maximize selling time by leveraging internal resources like Account Managers, Technical Support, Order Entry, and Finance.
- Ensure all customer projects are followed up on in a timely and effective manner, coordinating necessary actions for successful outcomes.
- Provide product education through AIA CEU Lunch presentations (minimum of 6 per year).

Education:

- Construction sales experience is essential. Window coverings sales experience is highly preferred.
