We’re working with a rapidly growing manufacturer (25% YOY growth over the last 3 years) specializing in portable power distribution, portable lighting, and other innovative products
on a search for a highly motivated and results-driven Southwest Regional Sales Manager to join this dynamic team.
You will be provided with a company truck. In addition, you will also have a demo trailer to be parked at a storage facility, ready for the next demonstration in your region.
***Residency in Southern California, AZ or NV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand the customer base, particularly among commercial electrical contractors and equipment rental companies in the Southwest region.
- Customer Engagement: Actively engage with target customers, build strong and lasting relationships, and understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Product Presentation: Present the value proposition and innovative solutions to potential customers, effectively communicating the benefits and advantages of the various products.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly targets for product demonstrations, cold calls, and customer growth.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge and provide valuable insights to the organization.
- Customer Service: Uphold the company’s reputation as a trusted partner by delivering outstanding customer service and consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Sales Analytics: Utilize CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track progress, report on sales activities, and identify areas for improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven success as a sales representative or sales manager, working for an electrical distributor, manufacturer, rep or reseller. We would also consider someone that has worked for an electrical contractor in a sales role.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a positive outgoing personality and a great work ethic.
- Willingness to travel overnight 25-50% of the time.
- Home-based office setup with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to attract new customers and reach the proper decision-makers.
