Position: Regional Sales Manager/ Sales Marketing
Direct Recruit Agency is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team. As a full-time, permanent employee, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue for our agency.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed annual sales/EBITDA revenue goals
- Develop strategy to identify and execute conversion opportunities for all accounts within defined territory
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive brand awareness and specification adoption for company products within the EPC market.
- Continue prospecting and account development activities that result in account conversion, sales, and a favorable impact on EBITDA.
- Identify and foster relationships with key distribution channels within defined territory to drive sales with strategic distributors.
- Develop the market by creating a strategic go-to-market strategy for identified territory with SWOT analysis by market to include plan, target accounts, and strategy for the region.
- Create industry awareness by attending local and regional trade shows and marketing events. Where applicable, serve a speaker and/or provide technical articles within the appropriate industry communities to drive brand awareness, education, and successful adoption of company branded products
- Stay up to date on applicable codes and regulations
- Routinely update the Executive team with progress on current initiatives

- Manage a team of sales representatives and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure their success
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to generate new business and increase revenue
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a cohesive and effective sales strategy
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Travel within the designated region to meet with clients and attend industry events
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required with B.B.A. preferred, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in sales, No management experience is Required.
- Related experience needs to be in selling directly to the power grid sector or those building or working for the sector (utilities, engineering firms working for or on power grid projects, etc). Products need to be items utilized in power / electrical such as wire / cable or more complex electrical related products (Utility, Substation, Grounding application). Products such as alarms, security systems, IT systems, or products /
services etc sold to this sector will not be a match and not the product experience needed for this role.) End customer sector AND related product sold must be a match.
- Ability to plan, organize and work cross-functionally
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Willingness to travel within the designated region as needed
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
