ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
- Uphold the standards for total store, evaluate implementation and execution of all merchandising plans, including merchandising new items, sales items, promotional tie-ins, displays and signage to meet or exceed regional sales and project objectives.
- Works with merchants in all departments to develop solutions and/or coordinate regional sales plans and initiatives.
- Works with all specialists and corporate merchants to communicate goals and work processes. Assist stores with POG and CGO maintenance as directed by the Store Manager, District Manager and Regional Vice President.
- Evaluate and report to the District Manager and Regional Vice President the in-stock condition of a store including training opportunities needed by the store.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on all specific sales initiatives in a consistent format each week by store and collaborate with the District Manager across the district by working with assigned stores to improve customer experience and reduce shrink.
- Adhere to and enforce all physical safety and security, sanitation, and food safety regulations; promote goodwill with respect to government agencies and officials.
- Improve and support training and development initiatives of Store Management and ensure the proper associates reidentified, promoted and placed in positions for long term career development.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on backroom inventory levels, safety issues and overall conditions to reduce out-of-code and shrink.
- Support the inventory processing center store including inventory preparation and execution as well as communication with the inventory service team.
- Provide guidance and ensure store associates comply with the dress code policy which promotes the professional image and identification to our customers during scheduled work hours.
- Assist District Manager, HR Specialist and Store Managers in the development of Assistant Store Manager’s Department Manager’s, trainees, and interns.
- Have a full understanding of stores as it related to their customer experience performance metric and assist Customer Experience Specialists in developing plans and execution where needed.
- May support districts outside of the region on projects that require additional assistance.
- Assist District Manager(s) with all aspects of the business including sales, profit, expenses, talent development, associate engagement, community leadership; to include the six key areas in which a District Manager leads their team to success.
- Promote and accomplish the engagement of all associates.
- Develop internal talent to fill key roles across all stores at all levels.
- Drive financial results in the operating region/district(s).
- Achieve favorable results by executing programs, initiatives and plans essential to the role.
- Promote an inviting buying atmosphere for customers to contribute to the success of the company.
- Make strategic plans and decisions in collaboration with District Manager(s); facilitate the resolution of issues impeding store success.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position interacts and collaborates across District Manager, store, specialist positions and merchants with the purpose of meeting performance expectations. The position does not directly supervise associates.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business preferred, plus a minimum of three (3) years' experience

Salary Range: $75,000- $121,650 Annually
