Summary:
The Hotel Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring that all hotels within a specific region operate at peak performance, while delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving financial targets.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Management:
- Provide leadership and direction to Hotel General Managers and their teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement regional strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance profitability across all hotels.
- Collaborate with Hotel General Managers to establish performance goals, monitor progress, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to brand standards, service excellence, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing and resolving any complaints.
- Develop and manage regional budgets, oversee hotel expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Participate in the recruitment and development of hotel staff to cultivate a talented and engaged workforce.
- Evaluate the performance of Hotel General Managers and provide constructive feedback to support their professional development.
- Represent the hotel brand at industry events and within the community, fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Sales & Marketing:
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to develop and execute regional strategies to increase occupancy, market share, and revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive advantage.
Guest Satisfaction & Loyalty:
- Prioritize guest satisfaction and ensure exceptional experiences at every touchpoint.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and manage guest loyalty programs to drive repeat business and cultivate brand advocacy.
- Pass Quality Brand Audits
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing multiple properties preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading hotel operations, driving revenue growth, and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Sound business acumen and financial management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, sales & marketing, and guest service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
