Your Role Will Include:
- Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and develop maintenance teams, and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Maintenance Operations: Oversee preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and conduct property inspections.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation, monitor costs, and manage vendor relationships.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations, promote safety culture, and respond to emergencies.
- Project Management: Create and manage scopes of work for capital and other projects, review bids and contracts, oversee outside contractors, and plan timelines to minimize disruption.
- Customer Service: Communicate with owners, regional managers and onsite staff in resolving maintenance issues, and enhancing owner and resident satisfaction.
- Staff Hiring and Training: Collaborate with onsite managers in hiring and training of maintenance staff to ensure skill development.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain property quality standards through regular assessments and follow-up actions.
- Inventory Control: Oversee purchasing and inventory management of maintenance supplies and equipment.
