Regional General Counsel, Americas - The PeterSan Group and PeterSan Legal Staffing

Our client, a global technology leader in its sector, is seeking an experienced lawyer to serve as their Regional General Counsel-Americas, advising on regional legal matters and overseeing a team of business lawyers who support Global Business Units, sales, procurement, and other key business functions.

Responsibilities for this role include the following:

• Serve as key business partner to the business to identify and mitigate legal risks and provide legal and regulatory advice on a broad range of issues including strategic contracts, corporate transactions, finance and tax transactions, commercial and procurement support, regulatory requirements, compliance with policies, among others

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of lawyers and staff

• Partner with a broad network of internal stakeholders to drive and support initiatives, including ongoing evolution of business strategy, commercial practices and contractual processes

Applicants must have the following qualifications in order to be considered:

• 12-20 years’ experience, with a mix of in-house and AmLaw 200 law firm work

• Management experience, preferably overseeing a team of in-house lawyers and paralegals

• Broad direct experience with a variety of legal matters including strategic business agreements
