About the Job
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- 3D CAD sheet metal design and drafting of mechanical components and assemblies
- Sheet metal Part design, analysis, debug and rework
- Report preparation and presentation at the end of the project
- All activities will be designed to give the intern a full understanding of the BAC engineering design and insight into fabrication
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursing a Bachelors (Junior or above) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Mechanical Design skills and understanding of mechanical design practices
- Must be mechanically inclined and be able to visualize mechanical (spatial) relationships
- 3D Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) experience (i.e. Autodesk Inventor)
- Thorough understanding of AutoCAD
- Sheet Metal design experience preferred
- Autodesk Vault knowledge preferred
- Previous internship experience preferred
BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28.
BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
