At Johnson & Johnson, we all belong. The Regional Business Director is responsible for effectively leading, developing, and managing a team of five Region Business Managers (RBMs).
These RBMs oversee the Area Business Specialists (ABS) team responsible for engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders, including in-office infusion (IOI) clinics, infusion service providers (ISPs), infusion management companies (IMCs), hospital outpatient departments (HOPDs), and local specialty pharmacies (SPs).The Regional Business Director is responsible for leading their teams to maximize performance across key accounts. The incumbent collaborates with key customers and prioritizes opportunities, assists the team in securing and applying resources and efforts to maximize results.
The individual is responsible for the development and execution of aligned business plans, customized to meet the needs of the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine business and brand strategies, which delivers compliant product sales growth and volume objectives.The Regional Business Director will collaborate extensively at all organizational levels with key internal partners (i.e.
Sales Leadership, Marketing, Strategic Customer Group, Pricing Strategy, Commercial Excellence, etc.).
Externally, the Regional Business Director will establish strong relationships with key economic and clinical decision makers, strategic partners and engage in collaborative partnerships that lead to the attainment of strategic initiatives and business results.
The Regional Business Director is responsible for leading, motivating, coaching, developing, and retaining a diverse team of individuals who are technically competent and skilled in the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine business, the healthcare marketplace, and account management.
They will develop and coach RBMs, and ABS’s on critical business competencies and leadership imperatives.
Coaches’ others to effectively build mutual alignment among internal and external stakeholders, adopt difficult positions, and achieve outcomes that are both customer-centric and company responsible. All responsibilities of the Regional Business Director are carried out with strict adherence to the J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement, MBA is preferred.Required Skills and Experience Minimum 10 years of cross functional experience in key commercial roles (e.g.
Sales, Marketing, Sales Management, etc.).At least 5 years of people management experience with a proven track record of talent acquisition, talent development and performance management experience Experience leading or working in Account Management, understanding of the Healthcare market and knowledge of key healthcare trendsMust be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business sense.Must be capable of handling and prioritizing multiple priorities.Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.Candidates must have a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 states along with a clean driving recordWilling to travel up to 50% of the time domestically Preferred Skills and Experience Immunology/Oncology or buy and bill experience This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar yearSick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar yearHoliday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar yeaAdditional information can be found through the link below.
