Summary
- The Regional Account Manager will report into the District Manager or Regional Manager and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and employees, developing and retaining staff, coordinating support services and solves client account issues to effectively manage the client relationship. The Regional Account Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating staff.
- The RAM will have knowledge of client Post Orders and all position tasks within the RAM’s market.
- The Regional Account Manager (RAM) fulfills the weekly scheduling and staffing requirements for multiple clients within a designated regional market. The RAM is directly involved with the recruitment and disciplinary functions working closely with the Regional HR Recruiter and HR Generalist.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day to day security operations of one or multiple client sites.
- Manage a team of Field Supervisors and Security Officers including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support.
- Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
- Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
- Consistent meetings with client leadership to gauge BRC’s performance delivery (KPI: Customer Retention through site visits).
- Assure regular communication of issues or program with Client
- Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
- Maintains regular communications with Security Professionals, resolving issues regarding pay, morale or complaints.
- Manages overtime by effective scheduling and making timely, qualified hiring decisions.
- Takes prompt action to when complaints are received regarding employee performance or conduct, administers disciplinary and coaching actions, and initiates and executes routine termination actions according to BRC policies.
- Regularly evaluates low-performing employees for replacement, upgrade or transfer.
- Makes initial / conditional job offers (for new employees) and job transfers (for existing employees) using company forms and procedures, offering rates, schedules and benefits in alignment with post contract requirements and BRC policy.
- Reviews & oversees the management of post schedules to ensure adequate coverage, weekly timesheets and updates schedules as necessary (verify such for self-scheduling accounts).
- Maintains high employee morale and low employee turnover through effective and proactive communications and timely problem resolution.
- Ensures a smooth-running operation by enforcing post specific policies and procedures through proper communication and training.
- Regularly conducts or recommends training for client-specific Post Orders.
- Ensure all daily, weekly and bi-weekly deadlines are consistently met.
- Prepares and runs all required reports as directed by managers, reviews such reports in a timely manner with management team, and takes appropriate action as necessary to address any report discrepancies or operational issues.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field
- Three to five years of private security experience
- Two years supervisory or management experience
- Former Military or LEO Preferred
- Ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
- Experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining quality staff.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred.
- WinTeam / eHub experience preferred
- ADP Workforce experience preferred
- Demonstrated special event or large (>75 officers) detail leadership
