Operating two unique campus locations, NLCP is a co-ed charter network serving approximately 750 students in grades 9-12. JOB GOALThe Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator (RAC) is responsible for developing and implementing an annual student recruitment plan that ensures the organization's enrollment goals are met. The RAC will work closely with school and network leadership to collectively evaluate, identify, and problem-solve all aspects of student recruitment and enrollment. Reporting to the principal. The ideal candidate will be relentless about producing results, have strong project management and data tracking skills, and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required (years of experience will be considered)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- Track record of producing exceptional results
- Experience within student recruitment, and/or community/grassroots organizing (preferred)
- Willingness to have a flexible schedule with evening and weekend hours (as needed)
- Reliable transportation
- Exemplary written and verbal communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Persuasive public speaking abilities, with experience presenting to multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to produce high quality work in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with marketing design program (PowerPoint, Publisher, Illustrator, etc.) (preferred)
- Deep understanding of Chicago Public Schools ecosystem including GoCPS enrollment platform
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES *perform other duties as assigned.
- Research recruitment strategies and analyze data to improve recruitment and enrollmentoutcomes and trendd
- Collaborate on the development of an annual plan and partner with school leaders and office managers to execute
- Track, analyze, and report student recruitment and enrollment data and problem-solve with school to ensure benchmarks and goals are met
- Support school leaders in creating and executing strong plans for student transition and onboarding
- Collaborate with school leadership to motivate, train, and ensure accountability of staff participating in enrollment activities
- Plan and attend local events to reach prospective families
- Assist in planning and oversight of all internal student enrollment events (open houses, new student orientations, tours, etc.)
- Develop partnerships with current and prospective student pipelines (elementary schools, community organizations, private schools, religious institutions, etc.)
- Communicate with prospective families to engage them and provide clarity and consistency throughout the enrollment process
- Manage GoCPS and communications Chicago Public Schools as it relates to enrollment and recruitment
- Collaborate with stakeholders involved with family engagement and identify ways to increase engagement to aid student recruitment, retention, and enrollment efforts
- Manage all relevant student records, including organizing file system, receiving records, and sending records
- Work with External Affairs to develop and ensure all student recruitment marketing materials are consistent and aligned, collaborating with relevant leaders on branding and external messaging; update pages on website and provide social media content related to student enrollment
