About the Job
We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team! The Receptionist will be responsible for asking visitors COVID-19 screening questions as provided by the site and perform temperature checks on visitors. The Receptionist is also responsible for assisting with guest inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services.

Receptionist Requirements
- Flexible schedule & Full-Time availability
- Must clear Live Scan background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bilingual: Spanish, preferred but not required.
Primary Receptionist Responsibilities
- Administer medical questionnaires directly to Clinic Staff, Patients as well as any visitors entering job sites
- Administer and interpret the temperature of an individual utilizing forehead, tympanic and/or oral thermometers according to manufacturer’s instructions and CDC guidance for personal protection
- Reporting cases of positive and negative responses according to established protocols
- Communicate findings directly to the Leads as required
- Document findings and results of the Medical Screening
- Translates for provider and office staff as requested
- Make changes in the appointment type as needed basis depending on findings and results while having polite, but clear communication with the patients about the changes
- Ensure the registration and lobby areas are appropriately maintained
- Greet and Sign In patients, providing exceptional patient experience
- Answer and screen telephone call, takes messages and provides information
- Attend meetings as required
Notify the Office Manager of possible problems:
- Patient Relations
- Patient Flow
- Other Employees, etc
- Acquire appropriate signatures
- Submit appropriate information per procedure
- Reports malfunctioning equipment to Office Manager
- Stays in compliance with all HIPAA regulations

- Performs other related duties as assigned
PAY SCALE: $16 - $17 / hour
Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
