Receptionist, Office Associate (DC)
We are seeking an administrative professional for the Washington DC office. This is an in-office part-time position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant office experience within a fast-paced client-services organization. Qualified applicants will also have the following: a strong sense of professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality; excellent coordination and written communication skills; the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and priorities; a strong sense of attention to detail; exceptional interpersonal skills and must be proactive rather than reactive. Preferred candidates have strong Microsoft Suite experience. Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance. Punctual with strong attendance history.
The Washington DC Office Receptionist will report to the Head of Business Operations Manager.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- The first point of contact for all new hires, visitors and callers to Eurasia Group's DC office, greeting guests, escorting to conference rooms, and connecting them with members of the EG staff.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with vendors for the DC office.
- Oversees the office's daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Responsible for mail distribution, receive deliveries, and upkeep of the reception desk.
- Maintain office organization by cleaning and organizing daily, checking office supply inventory weekly, and re-ordering supplies as needed.
- Improve and enhance office aesthetics, office supply, and maintenance.
- Prepare conference rooms for guests.
- Coordinate logistics for the DC office's events as directed.
- Running errands outside of the office when necessary.
- Workstation setup or clean up.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of Business Operations Manager.
- Qualified candidates required the ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and be eligible to pass a credit check.
This role will be 24 hours per week from 9-5pm M/W/Th with some flexibility for special events.
The pay will be $19-21 an hour. The pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

The pay range for this role is:
19 - 21 USD per hour(Washington DC)
