Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to manage our front desk and provide administrative support. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth daily operations in the office. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job duties
- Greet and welcome clients as they arrive, creating a warm and professional first impression
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for tax preparers and other staff
- Assist clients with inquiries and provide information about our services
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and office correspondence
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Ensure client information is handled confidentially and securely
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling software)
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
