Job Description:
Our client, a Greenwich, CT-based Investment Firm, seeks a Temporary Receptionist.
Temporary Receptionist Position Summary:
The Pay rate is $23. On-site, 5 days a week. Hours are 7:30 am-5:00 pm,
The ideal candidate must be flexible if they have a meeting after 5:00 pm. The person must stay and assist. It doesn't happen that often, but just in case. Supporting other admins with ad-hoc projects. The client will conduct a drug test, credit check, and background check.
If this role should transition to permanent, the salary should be around the $55k-$60k range.
Role and Responsibilities
The client is seeking a versatile Temporary Receptionist who is capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. This person must be polished and have experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
Specific responsibilities will include the following:
- Welcoming visitors in a warm and friendly manner and notifying the host of their arrival
- Answering the main phone line and directing calls as necessary
- Maintaining the reception area and preparing conference rooms for guests
- Visitor Preparation: Log the guests' names in building security, order meals, set up beverages, etc.
- Receive deliveries and notify appropriate personnel when packages/mail arrive
- Assist office manager with an inventory of supplies and restock as needed, kitchen items, office supplies
- Assist colleagues and other departments with administrative tasks
Requirements:
Skills and Requirements- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a professional office environment
- Maturity and a high degree of professionalism
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
- Punctual with a strong attendance history
