Core Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Purchasing Agent, the Material Handler will oversee the majority of the equipment / products delivered to the facility. This individual will manage and ensure the comprehensive and timely documenting, reporting and delivery of all equipment /product that has been received. The Material Handler will also adhere to all required rules regulations, compliance and security with regard to the Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
Material Handler duties include but not limited to: 
- Complete responsibility for all inbound, outbound and internal facility inventory transactions
- Ensure supplier purchase order payment information is coordinated with accounting team
- Review invoices / packing slips which includes receiving entry and checking for accuracy, compliance and quality.
- Communicate with manufacturing, purchasing teams and other departments as needed to research discrepancies
- Auditing the physical inventory to ensure that the inventory aligns precisely with system inventory numbers and locations for all applicable systems
- Setup and manage new items and SKU's in ERP system
- Account for all product receipt of goods, ensuring receipt information is updated in the ERP and METRC systems
- Monitor use and inventory levels of selected SKUs updating forecasts.
- Update computer inventory systems with timely and valid information when necessary.
- Move received goods to proper storage location in warehouse and vaults.
- Keep warehouse clean, safe and organized.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile inventory records as needed, manage and maintain extensive organized and compliant inventory records.
- Identify inventory anomalies, troubleshoot, remediate issues, and update procedures to ensure the situation is isolated.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Metrc including creating manifests, sourcing harvest dates, and printing compliance stickers
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must possess expert counting, tracking, and inventory management skills
- Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must not be registered as a primary caregiver or must withdraw registration as a registered primary caregiver prior to accepting an official offer of employment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, friendly environment
- Ability to quickly learn and master new skills
- Detail-oriented, dependable and able to work well both alone and with others
- Previous cannabis industry experience is not required.
- Ability to adhere to high standards, strict policies & procedures, and regulations 
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy 
- A customer orientation understanding & monitoring the needs of both internal and external customers 
- A love for problem-solving: preventing and solving issues, understanding and mitigating problems
- A logistics person with a keen eye for continuous process improvement and optimization 
- Able to lift to 50lbs
- Able to operate a forklift
