We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Associate Attorney to join our firm in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential real estate law, with expertise in contract negotiation and legal research. This role involves providing legal advice, preparing and reviewing documents, and representing clients in real estate transactions and disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions
- Conduct legal research
- Negotiate and draft real estate contracts
- Ensure compliance with title insurance requirements
- Represent clients in real estate litigation and dispute resolution
- Advise clients on zoning laws and land use applications
- Assist with the formation documents for real estate ventures
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Active state bar license in NY
- 3+ years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial and residential transactions
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and legal research
- Experience with title documents and title insurance processes
- Familiarity with real estate litigation and zoning regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
