Real Estate Analyst ( Real Estate / Accounting/ Finance) - North Miami Beach - GATESOURCE HR

GateSource HR is seeking an Analyst to join a respected $600 Million asset under management real estate private equity team in Miami Beach, FL. The Associate will be a key member of the team that underwrites, structures, executes, and monitors commercial real estate investments. The position is a generalist role, with an emphasis on analytical / modeling / presentation tasks associated with portfolio management / reporting for existing investments, new acquisitions / development deals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate or related finance fields, including investment banking, private equity and/or direct investing
  
• Excellent financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  
• Familiarity with real estate software and financial databases is preferred but not required
  
• Asset-level underwriting experience highly preferred
  
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  
• Detail-oriented with strong work ethic and integrity
  

• Perform asset-level and portfolio-level financial modeling and valuation analyses for existing and new investments
  
• Execute asset management of existing investments by preparing and maintaining quarterly asset management models / reports including comparisons of asset performance vs. budget and hold-sell analyses
  
• Monitor existing portfolio investments by reviewing monthly property level financials and participating in periodic calls with Declaration’s joint venture partners
  
• Support property-level due diligence and market / sector research for new investments
  
• Develop investment theses, prepare detailed investment committee materials and strategy whitepapers
