Sain Associates is looking for an entry-level civil engineer to join our Infrastructure team, where you will partner with a project manager to tackle Transportation projects, including roadways, sidewalks, and intersection improvements. This position is ideal if you would like to build your technical expertise and work with engineering design software.
On a typical day, you might be performing quantity take-offs and designing roadway drainage systems, as well as creating the horizontal and vertical geometry for a road design. You will also be assisting with the design of the signage, pavement markings, and erosion control measures necessary for project construction.
Must Haves
- Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 0-4 years of experience
- EI is preferred
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills with English proficiency
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Enjoy learning different design software
- Prefer someone with experience with CAD software like MicroStation or OpenRoads
- Ability to travel as needed
