Job Overview:Shriners Children’s Chicago is looking for Radiology Technologists to perform diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy. Hours: Full-time M-F days, PRN to include all shifts and weekends On Call Consulting activity.
Responsibilities:• Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
• Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease
or injury.
• Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
• Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
• Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
•Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and
flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Qualifications:Required:
Associates Degree Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Radiologic Technologist license in state of practice
Preferred:
One year pediatric and/or orthopedic radiology experience.
