Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Department Director and Clinical Coordinator and according to department policies and procedures, operates conventional, fluoroscopic or portable radiology equipment in order to obtain radiographs of designated body areas. May perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations by mixing, preparing and administration of contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures. Serves as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist
• Current California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit required within one year of hire
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course
