Rack Assembly Repair - Spherion

Spherion Staffing is interviewing for Rack Assembly/Repair positions with a local manufacturing client. This position will be repairing production racks. Candidates will be operating manual and power tools to complete assigned tasks.

Schedule:
1st shift: Monday-Friday 6:30 am-2:30 pm
2nd shift: Monday -Friday 2:30 pm-10:30 pm
Pay $23-26/hour Depending on experience and shift

Responsibilities:
-Repair of all production racks, including harp racks, a-frames, bungee racks, and stock racks, and replacing/repairing parts on racks where needed
-Help with inventory of rack repair supplies
-Communicate in a timely matter when more supplies are needed/entering material needs on a work order
-Maintain the appropriate records by recording the results of work done.
-Take the initiative to fix flaws in welds or structural imperfections on racks

Qualifications:
-Must be mechanically inclined and able to read a measuring tape
-Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
-Ability to lift 55 pounds on a regular basis
