Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Nurse Manager (RN) to join ourProgressive Care Neuro Trauma Unit (PCNT). Your primary goal is to workclosely with the Director of PCNT to provide leadership and direction to theentire PCNT team and to make sure they continue to deliver exceptional care tocritically ill patients. You will work collaboratively with the entire PCNTstaff, physicians, and other disciplines within the hospital to create a systemof safe, quality health care. Job Responsibilities
- In this critical care environment, you will monitor the delivery of high quality patient care and in evaluating patient optimal outcomes
- You will manage day to day operations involving scheduling, patient-team rounding, and in ensuring patient and family satisfaction
- You will work with all facets of the clinical and administrative team, including PCNT Director, educator, resource nurse, physicians, HR, etc.
- You will provide leadership skills to assist with employee performance evaluations, counseling of staff, and provide guidance and support with compliance and regulatory agencies
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License
- BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association and/or client)
- PCCN Certification (preferred)
- TNCC Certification (preferred)
- TCAR Certification (preferred)
- Must have min 3-7years of acute care nursing in a critical care environment with supervisory neuro trauma experience
