**Job Title:** RN- Acute Care - IRU-Days **Job Specialty:** RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day - 3x12 - 6:45 am - 7:15 pm (36 Hours) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Experience with direct patient care preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor **Must-Have:** Associates or Bachelors in Nursing preferred **Job Description:** - The RN Clinical Agency Nurse operates as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. - Practices in a clinical environment under the supervision of Nurse Managers and other leaders, supported through a Shared Governance Model. - Ensures that nursing practice aligns with the Professional Practice Model and adheres to evidence-based practices and research. - Upholds the practice of nursing in alignment with the Professional Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. - Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics. - Partners with patients and significant others using appropriate methods for setting and purpose, ensuring patient goals are the focus of the care plan. - Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration, ensuring the delivery of safe, quality patient care through effective interdisciplinary communication and documentation. - Participates in performance improvement initiatives and supports research and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care. - Engages in professional development activities, serving as a preceptor or mentor to other professional nurses and ensuring a qualified future workforce. - Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in activities like value analysis in patient care product evaluation. - Proactively plans for patient care across the care continuum, developing protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers and other healthcare team members. - Supports the efficient and effective use of human and material resources. - Performs other duties as assigned and complies with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
