About The Position
Job Title: RN - Acute Care Float - Nights Job Specialty: Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night - 3x12 - 7pm - 7am, 36 Hours Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Less than 1 year preferred License: RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: Ability to optimize the use of technology for clinical care, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, excellent time management, decisive and composed response to emergencies, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice. Job Description: - Be an active member of an interdisciplinary team ensuring high-quality, individualized patient care. - Operate within a clinical environment guided by a professional practice model and evidence-based practice. - Uphold nursing principles as outlined in the Practice Act and the Code of Ethics by the American Nurses Association. - Perform the Nursing Process to ensure patient-centered, tailored care. - Provide relationship-based care considerate of diverse cultural and population-specific characteristics. - Coordinate patient care delivery and documentation through inclusive interdisciplinary communication. - Engage in teamwork that is fiscally responsible and promotes retention of healthcare team members. - Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance. - Complete all professional competency assessments and mandatory education. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement. - Adhere to all health system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies. - Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum. - Collaborate with care managers and the healthcare team to develop protocols for best practice outcomes. - Support effective use of human and material resources.
