- Years of Experience Required: 1 to 2 years of experience as a business administrator. This is a hard requirement, and candidates without this experience will be rejected. Overall experience: While the job description mentions 3 to 5 years of administrative experience, candidates with more experience (e.g., 15 years) are also considered, provided they meet the Microsoft experience requirement. Please note that this is not a managerial role and those that are looking to move up the ladder may not be a great fit.

- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain 1-2 years of experience at as a business administrator and who is not looking to move up to a leadership position.

- The Azure Core OS PM team is looking for a seasoned and energetic Business Administrator to be responsible for providing excellent administrative support.
- You must be resourceful and able to deal with ambiguity, possess solid problem solving skills, be able to work effectively under pressure and within short time constraints, prioritize while multi-tasking, and be flexible in the performance of the job responsibilities.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage two complex calendar(s) and ensure accurate scheduling and organization based on priorities.
- Planning and coordinating domestic and international travel end-to-end including the proactive anticipation of any, and all logistics and itineraries, as well as the reconciling and submission of expense reports.
- Purchasing equipment, services and supplies, creating purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Assist with establishing equipment ordering and supply guidelines, ensuring lowest cost/best quality options are chosen.
- Headcount management, including onboarding new employees, managing attrits
- Distribution and security group ownership and management
- Organizing and planning off-sites and morale events.
- Cross collaborating, planning, and support including All Hands, morale events, and other group meetings as needed.
- Manage team discretionary budget
- Expense reporting
- Office set up and clean out for incoming and outgoing employees, interns, etc.
- Space management: manage current space allocation; assist when there are large organizational moves
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in an Administrative support role or equivalent
- Desire to take on big challenges and the ability to see the big picture as well as the details
- Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests
- Consistently demonstrate a can-do and customer service attitude
- Collaborate on planning and support of all-up events including All Hands, morale events and other events as needed.
- Ability to build effective cross-group working relationships and work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge and proficiency with products and internal systems including Outlook, MSOffice, Windows, Teams, Employee Central, MyOrder, MyDevice, MyExpense, DaVinci and iCIMS preferred.
