Work Schedule: Maintenance windows (12:00 AM - 6:00 AM) as needed

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Integration Engineer to support a long-term project for our customer, Verizon. This remote position will require expertise in Nokia Routers (ALU 7750, 7705, 7250 IXR) and the ability to work during maintenance windows. The role involves performing software upgrades, integrations, troubleshooting, and ensuring network performance.
Essential Functions:
- Data Integrity Verification: Verify the data integrity of ALU 7750, 7705, and 7250 IXR nodes, in preparation for integration and software upgrades.
- Discrepancy Reporting: Report all discrepancies to customers through chain management processes.
- Method of Procedures (MOPs) Validation: Review and validate MOPs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supporting ALU 7750, 7705, and IXR equipment.
- MOP/SOP Updates: Update and revise MOPs, SOPs, and data templates to support integration and deployment activities.
- Software Upgrades: Prepare MOPs for software upgrades and resolve scripting issues. Support internal teams during maintenance activities.
- Issue Resolution: Use CLI and GUI to resolve software issues, upgrade network equipment, and correct faults.
- QOS Standards Application: Apply ALU QOS standards to network performance analysis.
- Router Configuration: Understand and build Nokia router configuration files.
- Maintenance Windows: Able to work during maintenance windows (12:00 AM - 6:00 AM) on a recurring basis, depending on project needs.
Other Functions:
- Network Element Support: Support and resolve issues with customer network elements, primarily 7750, 7705, 7210, and IXR routers.
- IPv6 Traffic Migration: Provide IPv6 telecommunications traffic migration services for customers.
- Escalation of Quality Issues: Escalate any quality issues to improve the services delivered to the customer.
- Technical Documentation: Develop written MOP for Field Technicians to use during network integration.
- Troubleshooting: Use strong analytical skills to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
Required Experience:
- Nokia Routers: Experience with Nokia Routers (ALU 7750, 7705, 7250 IXR).
- Nokia Certifications: NRS I or NRS II certifications (NRS II preferred).
- IP/MPLS Experience: Experience with IP, MPLS, Segment Routing, ISIS, OSPF.
- Software Tools: Familiarity with proprietary software tools used in network integration.
Other Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work remotely with flexibility for maintenance windows.
- Strong understanding of Nokia router configuration, CLI, and GUI operations.
This is a remote position, and candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including night shifts as needed for maintenance windows.
