Quality Assurance TechnicianThe Quality Assurance Technician with have a great aptitude for learning, being solution driven, and able to focus on both internal and external customer requirements. In this position you will be strategic in the identification of technical needs and solutions and demonstrate a strong execution focus to assist with the growth of our quality department to improve processes with the understanding of regulatory compliance requirements of ISO and the FDA.What you will be doing:The Quality Assurance Technician will measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications and interpret and analyze mechanical component and assembly drawings to determine inspection and testing procedures, limits, and validation methods. They will interpret GD&T requirements and other specifications and perform FAI's and write FAIR's. They will record accurate and concise descriptions of nonconforming conditions identified during inspection of product. The Quality Assurance Technician will operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) or OGP Smart Scope, including performance of set ups and calibrations. They should have the ability to program a CMM or OGP Smart Scope. This person will also assist in writing inspection plans when needed.What we expect from you:Our ideal candidate will a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control or Inspection.
