About the Job
The Quality Technician supports the quality function with respect to receiving inspection of outside processing operations and return goods management. Will work with quality, operations and management to address supplier quality issues and disposition request for customer returns. Duties supporting this role would include inspection of certifications and approving product returned from outside operations to go back in process and processing customer return request and managing RGA crib.

Essential Job Functions-
- Inspect outside product received from subtiers doing routed operations.
- Review and approve paperwork and certifications for subtiers and put parts back in process after acceptance.
- Issue return goods authorization and track progress of RGA's through stages
- Manage return goods crib and work with Quality engineers to disposition parts.
- Communicate with subtiers about any quality issues found during receiving inspection.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Product & Process Engineering and Production personnel to aid process improvement teams.
- Participate and assist in continuous improvement activities with Supervisor & Leads
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
- Attendance
- Ability to work at the Bloomington facility.
- Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree in quality or related field preferred
- Experience: 2+ years previous experience in Quality Assurance preferred to include inspections and audits
- Certifications/Licenses: Ability to obtain customer certification in product inspection to include DQR.
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), ability to work with others through complex situations
