Quality Systems ISO Coordinator
Job Summary (drug test is required):
The Quality Systems ISO Coordinator will oversee ISO 9001:2015 compliance, act as the primary liaison for quality-related customer concerns, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and production processes.
* This role ensures that customer requirements are met while maintaining adherence to international and national quality standards.
The responsibilities:
- Serve as the ISO 9001:2015 Systems Coordinator, maintaining certification and compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact for quality concerns, working directly with customer quality departments and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure customer requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams to establish supplier quality standards.
- Maintain and improve quality documentation, controls, and procedures.
- Collect and analyze performance data, generating statistical reports to monitor trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct root cause analyses on defects and recommend corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
- Train, mentor, and guide team members to meet quality assurance objectives.
- Perform product, system, and compliance audits while investigating and resolving customer complaints.
- Develop and monitor quality objectives aligned with the Annual Plant Quality Plans.
- Utilize Lean tools
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Program Management, including ISO/TS certification and knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or a related field (equivalent experience with certifications may be considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong communication, leadership, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, drive process improvements, and achieve measurable results in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean tools and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proven track record of achieving quality objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
