Job Title: QC Associate
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, Business Hours
Location: 100% Onsite
Role: Lab-based

Primary Responsibilities:

• This position will perform routine testing for QC Bioassay.
• Primary responsibilities include media preparation, cell maintenance/passaging, instrument maintenance and calibration, inventory and ordering.
• Other analytical support as needed.

Required Skills:

• Strong technical lab skills using pipettes, analytical balances, pH meter, etc. is a must.
• Experience with electronic notebooks.
• Proficient in common computer software applications, including Empower.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Candidate must have strong general laboratory and organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Education:

• BS in a science-related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a GMP QC lab is required (or equivalent experience in a related biopharmaceutical GLP or GMP lab environment).
• BS is required.

Additional Duties:

• This is a lab-based role.
• Working with cells, reagents, and hazardous materials.
• Proper PPE is provided and required to be utilized.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Position handles hazardous materials.
• Position works with or near in-vivo.
