Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
2. Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce the risk of recurrence.
3. Manage supplier quality, ensuring that all materials and components meet our stringent quality standards.
4. Oversee product quality, conducting inspections and audits to ensure that our products consistently meet or exceed our quality expectations.
5. Ensure regulatory compliance, keeping abreast of changing regulations and ensuring that our procedures and practices are in line with these changes.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our quality performance.
7. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
8. Conduct risk management activities, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
9. Oversee cGMP manufacturing practices, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are in line with these standards.
10. Develop and implement a robust food safety plan, ensuring that our products are safe for consumption.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices, including root cause analysis and CAPA.
4. Experience with supplier quality management and product quality assurance.
5. Proven track record in conducting quality audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
6. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement principles and lean manufacturing.
7. Experience in risk management and cGMP manufacturing.
8. Knowledge of food safety regulations and the development of food safety plans.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
10. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team to achieve high-quality standards.
