Quality Improvement Manager- RN or LPN - Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare

As the Manager of Quality one will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality improvement initiatives. Ensures that patient care and services meet regulatory standards and industry best practices. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to optimize clinical and operational processes, enhance patient safety, and improve overall healthcare outcomes. Provides oversight and direction for Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement activities for the division. Provides oversight of Operational Improvement Initiatives. 

Regulatory

• Stay updated on healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies
• Oversees compliance with personnel licensing and credentialing requirements
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards, e.g. HCFA, JCAHO, NCQA, HRS, AHCA, OSHA, CMS, CLIA, etc

Quality

• Design and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and safety. 
• Establish quality goals and benchmarks in alignment with TMH Physician Partners objectives
• Oversee education and training on quality improvement methodologies and practices.
• Designs and implements educational presentations facilitating the understanding and implementation of standards for improving care within the organization

Data Analysis

• Oversees HEDIS and MIPS program
• Oversees clinical and administrative education
• Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to promote a culture of quality and patient safety.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary teams to address quality issues and implement best practices. 
• Ensures application of standard of care across the group practices and the organization as a whole, i.e., the Infection Control, Laboratory, and Risk Management Departments.

Minimum: 5 years related experience demonstrating quality improvement/assurance skills and abilities.3-5 years supervising a team.

Preferred: RN License in the State of Florida.  LPN License accepted.
