We are excited to be opening our new distribution facility in Merrillville, IN using state of the art technology while minimizing our carbon footprint. Our 400,000 square foot facility will serve as one of our global shipping hubs responsible for meeting the demand of our customers internationally.
As a Quality Engineer you'll maximize customer experience and loyalty by integrating quality principles throughout the product lifecycle. You'll drive process optimization, data analysis, structured problem-solving, complaint resolution, and quality training. You'll also lead audits and coach teams to continuously improve systems and processes. Key responsibilities include:

What You Will Do

As a Quality Engineer you'll maximize customer experience and loyalty by integrating quality principles throughout the product lifecycle. You'll drive process optimization, data analysis, structured problem-solving, complaint resolution, and quality training. You'll also lead audits and coach teams to continuously improve systems and processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Quality Planning: Contribute to quality planning using tools like FMEA, process capability analysis, control plans, DFx, product lifecycle planning, supplier qualification, and PPAPs.
- Reliability: Integrate reliability principles into specifications and test plans. Address human factors impacting quality, including ergonomics, corrective actions, and the change acceleration process.
- Quality Control: Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements. Lead internal and external quality audits, manage supplier quality, and apply statistical methods for product and process control.
- Continuous Improvement: Solve quality issues using structured problem-solving with closed loop corrective and preventative actions. Apply metrology and statistical methods to improve quality, analyze inspection data, and generate actionable improvement reports.
- Collaboration: Work with Senior Quality Engineers to address problems and provide support.
- Training: Deliver quality training programs across functions.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Required Experience: 2-4 years.
- Required Certifications: ASQ CQE or equivalent within 18 months of hiring.
- Preferred Certifications: ASQ CRE, CSQE, or CSSBB.

- The expected annual base salary range for this role is $72,000 - $90,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
