Quality Engineer - Electrical - Optimal Staffing

Position Description:

PVT Engineers are the first line of defense regarding functional system quality for the products built at CAP. This position will be responsible for VFG V29 - check engine light both software and hardware for powertrain components and modules. The PVT Engineer is responsible for delivering vehicle line and functional quality objectives and handling ongoing product development issues. Reviewing daily warranty claims from our dealer network is key to understanding which issues need to be prioritized for containment actions. Other activities include reviewing connected vehicle data to identify trends, details, and data to support external concerns

Skills Required:

• Strong problem solving and decision making.
• Good communication skills both orally and written. Ability to manage multiple requests
• Automotive industry related experience

Experience Required:

• 3 years' experience in product development / Quality

Education Required:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Software Engineering or closely related field
• Master of Science in Electrical/Software Engineering is preferred.
