About the Job
As the QC Technician, you will inspect all final assembly products to make sure they are within the specifications and focus on ensuring customers' special requirements are met. The role is essential in ensuring all quality standards are being met.
This position is an active part of the quality wall process and will generate and control information for lean manufacturing processes such as KPIs. You will communicate defects to the department lead and report quality issues to Quality Team
working title: Quality Control Technician
-will be last line of defense for products being shipped out to consumers
-will be following very close instructions on how to carry out inspections
-individual must be reliable and be able to communicate with other departments as well as work independently
-hours: 7:30-4:30 Mon-Fri; overtime would be on an as needed basis
-minimal physical requirements; lifting 20 lbs max
-experience in QC environment or cable experience is a plus
-bachelors degree may be an overqualification
-position will report to the QA engineer who is based out of CA
-interview process: 30 minute team interview then in person interview at the facility
Required Qualifications
• Ability to read technical prints and construction.
• Excellence in communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to use a computer with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
• Meticulous with details and thorough with the process.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Experience working in a quality inspection environment
