Label Source is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their team in Bogart, Georgia.
About the Job:
The Quality Control Assistant will assist in ensuring that products and services provided by the company meet the required standards of quality, safety, and compliance. They will support the Quality Control team in conducting inspections, tests, and audits of products and processes. The Quality Control Assistant will also monitor and document quality control activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
Job Duties:
- Internal auditor for ISO requirements
- Assist in conducting inspections, tests, and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
- Collect and analyze quality control data and provide feedback to the Quality Control team.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and processes.
- Document quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and audits.
- Identify and report any quality control issues or deficiencies to the Quality Control team.
- Assist in investigating and resolving quality control problems, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality control standards are met throughout the organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Inspect first run as well as QA measurements, testing and data.
- Work with Customer Service and customers directly to ensure accuracy.
- Complete all necessary inspection forms and reports.
Skills and Requirements:
- ISO certification background – Required.
- High school diploma required.
- ISO (internal auditor) – REQUIRED.
- Quality Control – 1 year preferred.
- Quality Inspection – 2 years required.
- Precision Measuring Instruments – 1 year required.
- Manufacturing – 1 year required.
- Prior experience in a quality control environment required.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Follow written instructions and take verbal instructions for multiple assembly tasks in a manufacturing shop environment.
Compensations & Benefits:
- Salary commensurate with experience ($20-$24 per hour)
