SUMMARY
Bering Straits Global Innovations, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Quality Control Lead for the March Air Reserve Base (ARB) in Riverside California . This individual will oversee the Quality Control (QC) for the installation or approximately 9.5 Mile of new gas distribution line with associated meters. QC will involve the monitoring and documentation but not be limited to trench excavation for pipe installation, pipe installation and pressure testing, backfill and compaction of trench. Standards will be as described and note in the design and specifications, Performance Work Statements, ensure are completed and recorded and being performed correctly and consistently. The QC Lead will be the main point of contact for the Site Superintendent and Project Manager to establish clear communication of needs within the work site and seeing objectives through to completion. The QC Lead will delegate workload within the field team with clear expectations and communication.

- Record and up load test documentation to United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) Resident Management System (RMS)
- Supervise Quality Control Operations at March ARB
Qualifications

- Supervise Quality Control Operations at March ARB
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years minimum working in a Quality Control position
- 2 years of leadership experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- USACE Construction Quality Control Management (CQCM) certification (or ability to complete course)
- Excellent report writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability plan and schedule activities
- Public Speaking

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The job is also performed in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures depending on season, heavy machinery, and might require use of ladders, fork trucks, or other equipment for inspections or audits. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver quarterly briefings for QC related projects and concerns to customer
- Attend management level meetings
- Main point of contact between QC and other departments
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
