Job Title: Quality Assurance

Reports to: Quality Manager
Job Purpose
Support the Quality Manager by following and implementing quality procedures and processes. Assist in preparation, production, and activities for manufactured materials to meet production schedules while ensuring full compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and customer specifications. Contribute to the implementation of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and 6-S standards. Ensure the production of quality parts in accordance with specifications, blueprints, and travelers.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials and verify certifications of analysis to specifications; label coils with C-Codes and scan certifications.
- Ensure traceability of raw materials and travelers, verifying material codes meet customer requirements and recording them on travelers.
- Verify all Certificates of Conformance (COCs) from outside processes for completeness and alignment with purchase orders.
- Ensure parts and travelers are completed according to quality procedures and work instructions.
- Accurately complete and close all travelers in JobBOSS.
- Create and maintain new Inspection Method Sheets (IMS).
- Prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for new laser operations.
- Develop part-marking pages with part photos and marking labels per Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
- Assist the Quality Manager in preparing for audits.
- Support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities.
- Create standard operating procedures for inspection operations.
- Ensure manufacturing work instructions and quality procedures are current and compliant.
- Train at Acu-Gage to learn inspection equipment.
- Comply with ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements.
- Follow company SOPs, safety protocols, and lockout/tagout policies.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the President or Quality Manager with appropriate training.
- Participate in internal housekeeping inspections, quality audits, and client audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information, adhering to ITAR requirements.
- Organize and scan CARs, RMAs, FAIRs, material certifications, customer specifications, quality clauses, and drawings into centralized folders for easy access.
- Update customer specifications quarterly.
- Prepare and update Sub-Tier Surveys from the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Provide assistance with additional tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of numeracy and literacy.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Competent in using computer software.

Compensation
- Pay Rate: Up to $24/hour (DOE).
Work Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM–10:00 AM
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
