You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Quality Assurance Testing & Automation Senior Manager is responsible for managing a team that develops and implements Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and processes that test the functionality of applications systems across various applications such as web, mobile, and mainframe.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages teams responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) testing and automation processes and proceduresManages the direction and selection of frameworks, tools, setups, and strategies, with the support of the QA engineering teamOversees the testing, scalability, and capacity requirements, leads test planning and scripting, and establishes priorities and monitors progress and budgetCollaborates with business leaders/stakeholders and provides advanced guidance in needs discovery and developing strategic plans to address issuesLeads the development of acceptance criteria, test design, and automation recommendations in the early phases of projectsTakes responsibility for monitoring and reacting to trends in the QA testing and automation industry and implements changes to improve efficiency, speed, and reduce cost through research and innovationGuides, leads, and influences teams in developing an advanced technical understanding through training junior managersContinuously develops and enhances testing frameworks, guidelines, and best practicesEnsures that team is equipped with the necessary tools and technical knowledge to enhance the QA testing and automation procedures at RegionsCollaborates with executives in determining project prioritization and overall strategy of teamThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.This is a single incumbent position.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years of experience in quality assurance testing/automation and/or software developmentOr Bachelors degree and ten (10) years of experience in quality assurance testing/automation and/or software developmentPreferencesMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Management, Statistics, Math, or related fieldSupervisory/management experienceExperience creating, executing, and maintaining industry standard test automation frameworks as well as planning, estimating, and reporting automation testing activitiesExperience using API’s (e.g.
SOAP/REST) to get/post the required information from/to other interfacesExperience utilizing Power BI and HarnessAdvanced knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous testing practicesExperience with various Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as C#, Visual Studio, Java, Eclipse, or IntelliJExperience with C# - NUnit – RestSharp, or Java – TestNG – RestAssured, Postman as well as Bamboo, GIT, Artifactory, JIRA, and ConfluenceExperience creating relational database queries and analyzing dataExperience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologiesSkills and CompetenciesAbility to collaborate with other team members and teamsAbility to influence others and effectively implement changeAbility to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutionsStrong problem-solving skillsStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationJob detail for this specific opportunityThe Senior Quality Assurance and Test Automation Manager will be responsible for the overall strategy and oversight of quality assurance for Technology. Responsibilities will be centered around analyzing, testing, and reporting on overall system testing. They will manage a team to include QA Manager(s), Test Leads, QA Engineers, QA Consultants, QA Analysts (Test Engineers), and Test Automation Engineers. This resource will work closely with the Project Management, Solutions Architects, DevSecOps, and Application Development teams to assure successful software implementations. Establish working relationship with Software Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement of overall software qualityBuild effective and efficient test automation processEnhance QA and Test Automation framework to support quality continuous deliveryCreate and monitor metrics related to Software QualitySupport the DevSecOps strategyThis position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future.
Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.
