Senior Quality Control Technician
Hopkins, MN | Contract – 6 months | $20-24/hr
Konik is partnering with a local medical device manufacturing company that is seeking a Senior Quality Control Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as a Quality Technician for a medical device manufacturer.
Senior Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:
- Conduct release testing, record data, and perform basic statistical analysis as needed.
- Inspect incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual checks, and measuring components; reject nonconforming materials.
- Assemble product samples for testing purposes.
- Accurately document inspection results in reports, logs, and databases.
- Monitor incoming product quality and communicate findings to Quality Engineering or Management.
- Ensure measurement equipment is properly set up and calibrated.
- Create and manage Non-Conformance and deviation reports.
- Contribute to Quality System Improvements through the CAPA process.
- Work with engineers to develop and enhance lab procedures and inspection methods.
- Assist with internal and external audit activities as assigned.
Senior Quality Control Technician Requirements:
- 4+ years of quality control experience in ISO 13485 and GMP environments.
- Knowledgeable in GXP, 21 CFR, ISO, QSR, and related standards and regulations.
- Experience in manufacturing and operations with a strong technical foundation.
- Ability to educate and collaborate with stakeholders on quality assurance principles.
- Comfortable interfacing with internal teams and external partners at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment under pressure.
- Effective communicator with proven ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Skilled in working with technical services, R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and statistical tools like Minitab for data analysis.
