Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician for a 12 Month + Contract. Shift 7:30am to 4pm
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Perform incoming inspection per inspection plan requirements
- Perform the acceptance of finished devices as the final quality release
- Prioritize multiple product lines of varying speeds and volumes to ensure a steady flow of released material.
- Identify, document, segregate, evaluate, & disposition non-conforming material
- Obtain Return Material Authorization (RMA) and ship material to suppliers
- Maintain physical inventory and perform electronic transactions in ERP System to account for material shipments and supplier credits/rework
- Maintain compliance in a highly regulated environment for medical devices following good documentation practices (GDP)
- Cross functional collaboration, including but not limited to, Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure coordination of activities
Requirements
- Associates Degree or Higher
- Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Min 3 years of relevant experience (Ex: Inspection, QA, MRB, Procurement)
- Experienced with the following equipment and how to use: Titrator, High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC)
- Ability to problem solve and address production related concerns
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to multi-task and change task focus with minimal notice
Requirements
